I'm Nate, a high school librarian in Massachusetts. I live in the wonderful city of Providence, RI. Although I've only lived in RI since 2017, I identify much more as a Rhode Islander than with my native Massachusetts.
Loves:
- Live music
- Kayaking/exploring
- Beer and brewery culture
- I tried to open a brewery in 2012. I couldn't make the money work, but writing the content for the web page ended up being the thesis for my master's degree in professional writing.
- I also was a beer writer for the New Bedford Standard Times for 18 months, then Yankee Brew News for two years.
- For our honeymoon, my wife and I went to Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. It was a bucket list item for me and was my first time in Europe. The experience was absolutely amazing, and I recommend it to EVERYONE.
- Rhode Island Football Club!
- NFL football and the Patriots (related - fantasy football, where I'm the commissioner of a league that started in 1994)
- Food. Like, all food.
- Being fit (running, lifting weights, etc)

- Bigotry in all forms
- Small-mindedness
- My forgetfulness and ADHD
- Working out (LOL)
